Finger Lakes Mulch & Soil Products, LLC, an affiliate of GreenRenewable, Inc., announces that it has begun production at its new facility at 1516 Routes 5 & 20 in Geneva, NY. From this facility, formerly managed by Sensenig’s Landscape Supply, Finger Lakes will serve independent landscape materials suppliers throughout Western New York with mulch, compost, wood chips, topsoil and other products derived from sustainable resources.Finger Lakes purchased the holdings from Sensenig’s in January, taking over management duties and manufacturing of mulch, soil and other organics. The product line has been expanded, with bagged mulch, composts and topsoils now available to customers, as well as bulk quantities of each. Finger Lakes has hired eight employees to staff this new venture and plans to add more general laborers and qualified equipment operators in the near future. “We are delivering many of the same high quality products Sensenig’s customers have come to expect and even expanding the product line and services,” said Sean Gallivan, owner, Finger Lakes Mulch & Soil Products. “We are committed to quality customer service and the highest business standards and look forward to working with our new partners.”Sensenig’s has been manufacturing mulch for the past 20 years and from its present Geneva location since 2002. The company recently began production of bulk and bagged lawn and garden products at its 105-acre facility located at 155 State Street in Manchester, NY, revitalizing a property which sat vacant for seven years.
