Police: Naples home care worker stole $1,452

On Wednesday, the City of Canandaigua Police Department charged Monique E. Barrette-Lewis, age 34 of 188 North Main Street in Naples, with grand larceny in the fourth degree and identity theft in the first degree, felonies.Barrette-Lewis is accused of stealing $1,452 from an 84-year-old female who had employed Barrette-Lewis as a home care worker.

Barrette-Lewis unlawfully used the victim’s credit/debit several times to withdraw cash.

Barrette-Lewis was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Ontario Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash $3,000 bond.
