On Friday, May 13th, 2016, Seneca Community Players will auction off every role for their summer musical production Willy Wonka to the highest bidder during the Seneca Community Players Auction Theatre at the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge on Bayard Street. Doors open at 6:30p and the auction will begin at 7pm. In addition to auctioning off several roles, over 40 baskets, goods & services donated by local businesses and individuals will go home with the highest bidders of live and silent auctions. SCP is encouraging everyone to come to this free event and support our actors as they compete for their dream roles! Adults of all ages and children currently enrolled in 5th grade or higher have this unique opportunity to perform in this much loved musical, which is scheduled for July 15-17 at the Delavan Theater at the NYS Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls. The show’s director is Deb Bly and the musical director is Deane Balcer. All money raised will support SCP’s mission to foster, arouse, and help broaden the interest, availability, and appreciation of the theatre arts in Seneca and the surrounding counties. The Elks Club will also be hosting a fish and steak dinner prior to the auction for $10-$15 and dinner reservations are recommended. Doors for the dinner will open at 5:30p.For more information on SCP and the auction, visit SCP’s Facebook page – “Seneca Community Players Auction Theatre” and www.senecacommunityplayers.org
