Heroin Epidemic Action League receives donations

On Thursday, President Mario Campanello, on behalf of the Cayuga County Deputy Sheriff’s Benevolent Association (CCDSBA), presented two checks to Kevin Jones, Director of H.E.A.L. (Heroin Epidemic Action League) in support of their community-wide efforts to prevent substance abuse and initiate and implement needed resources to assist those affected by the disease of addiction.$1,000 was donated to sponsor the upcoming UV Splash Event organized to benefit H.E.A.L. The event will be at Casey Park on July 9, 2016 at 6:00 PM.
