Three hospitalized in Route 96 accident on Sunday

Three were sent to Strong Memorial Hospital following a single-car accident on State Route 96 in the Town of Romulus Sunday morning. Around 11:09 am deputies responded to a one-car accident on Route 96, which was being operated by Stacey L. Watson, 36, of Painted Post.Her vehicle was southbound on Route 96 when the vehicle went off the east side of the road, and struck a ditch — rolling over. The vehicle suffered extensive damage.Watson’s two passengers, Holly M. Duvall, 41, of Corning and Jason R. Robinson, 16, of Painted Post complained of head and neck pain. All three were transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.Deputies were assisted at the scene by Ovid and Romulus Fire Departments. The accident remains under investigation at this time, according to deputies.
