Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould reports that two minors have been arrested in connection with a string of larcenies from unlocked vehicles in the Village of Moravia.An investigation into a string of robberies from vehicles, which took place on May 21st and 22nd were executed by a 16-year-old, and a 14-year-old. Deputies say upwards of 30 vehicles were broken into, which had a series of items stolen from them. A number of items had been recovered by deputies and identified by the victims. Both suspects were arrested and charged with two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, and four counts of petit larceny.The 16-year-old was arraigned in Moravia Village Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail on $2,000 cash bail, or $4,000 secured bond. The 14-year-old will appear in Cayuga County Family Court at a date yet to be determined.
