Jerry Moran has been named senior vice president of human resources at del Lago Resort & Casino, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience in recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, and benefits/compensation administration. He was responsible for overseeing human resources for 14 hotels with 850 associates in four states. Prior to LTD Hospitality, Moran was VP of human resources at Colwen Management in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where he provided human resource services and consulting to ownership and executives at 25 hotels with 1,300 employees in five states.Moran has also held human resource leadership positions at Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, and Caesars World and Sheraton Desert Inn in Las Vegas.Moran possesses a deep passion for community involvement and throughout his career has been involved with various boards and charities, including serving as board member/SHRM foundation director for the Hampton Roads SHRM Chapter, governor appointment for the State Rehabilitation Council in Connecticut and New Hampshire and board member/VP of programming for the Connecticut ASTD Chapter, and served on the advisory board of the College to Work Collaborative at Mitchell College.He received an M.A. in organizational psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and a B.S. in psychology from SUNY Cortland in Cortland. Moran resides in Auburn with his son.
