Watkins Glen Police Blotter 6/19 – 6/21

The Watkins Glen Police Department reports the following arrests. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.- John M Hungerford JR, age 31 of Dundee, was arrested on June 9th and charged with criminal contempt in the 2nd degree. Hungerford was arraigned in the Village of Watkins Glen Court and committed to the Schuyler County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. – Robert L Landon, age 41 of Burdett, was arrested on June 13th and charged with harassment in the 2nd degree. – Brandon M Gaylor, age 29 of Watkins Glen, was arrested on June 14th in connection with an ATV crash on May 29th and charged with DWI, operation of an unregistered vehicle, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate, operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to wear a helmet, imprudent speed, and unsafe turn. – Jesse M Rahilly, age 29 of Watkins Glen, was arrested on June 14th and charged with DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Rahilly was arraigned in the Village of Watkins Glen Court and committed to the Schuyler County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail. – Shawn T Miazga, age 27 of Bath, was arrested on June 15th and charged with aggravated DWI, driving with more than .08% BAC, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and moving from lane unsafely. Miazga was arraigned in the Village of Watkins Glen Court and committed to the Schuyler County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. – James M Mentley, age 47 of Fairview, PA, was arrested on June 15th and charged with DWI, driving with more than .08% BAC and unsafe lane change. – Torrie Savunen, age 39 of Montour Falls, was arrested on June 17th and charged with petit larceny. Savunen was arraigned in the Village of Watkins Glen Court and committed to the Schuyler County Jail in lieu $250 cash bail. – Tyler W Moore, age 28 of Ithaca, was arrested on June 19th and charged with DWI, driving with more than .08% BAC and speed in zone. – Keith J Peppard, age 50 of Watkins Glen, was arrested on June 21st and charged with coercion in the 1st degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, assault in the 3rd degree, and menacing in the 2nd degree. Peppard was charged following an investigation into a domestic incident. He was arraigned in the Village of Watkins Glen Court and released pending further court action.
