Arc of Seneca Cayuga has announced that its 19th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, August 1st at Highland Park Golf Club in Auburn, with a shotgun start at 11:00 am.The tournament format is a four-person scramble. Individual player cost is $95; a discounted fee of $350 has been set for teams. Lunch, dinner, several on-course contests, team photo, and gift bag are included. Pro shop dollars will be awarded to the top 3 scratch and top 3 handicap teams. With several sponsor levels available, ranging from $125 to $1,650, there are many ways to support this event. One thing about the Arc tournament that stands out is that sponsors and golfers actually get to meet some of the people that their donation will benefit. This is a big day for folks and some look forward to it all year long. They love to help in the morning and some return in the afternoon to enjoy dinner with the golfers. As one sponsor said, “It’s hard for us to realize what a big deal this is to people who have a disability. I met a young man who told me his ’story’; that’s when I knew that this will always be a day well spent.”For more information on how to become a sponsor or to request a registration form, visit www.sencayarc.org, call 315-856-8152, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.Arc of Seneca Cayuga is a not-for-profit agency comprised of people dedicated to assisting and supporting individuals with disabilities, their families, and the community.
