On Monday morning, part of North Road in the Town of Canandaigua was shut down for more than four hours, as crews worked to clean up from a one-vehicle accident.The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office tells FingerLakes1.com that a truck slammed into a utility pole on North Road, causing significant damage to the pole, as well as the transformer at the top. No injuries were reported at the time. However, North Road was shut down between Sand Hill Road and Andrews Road from around 8:00 am until 12:07 pm.
