Man charged with DWI after leaving scene of crash

On Sunday, deputies in Seneca County arrested a man with no address on Steele Road in Waterloo for driving while intoxicated after leaving the scene of an accident.Deputies charged Edward D. Eddington, 57, of no permanent address with felony driving while intoxicated, felony driving with .08% of 1% or more, felony aggravated unlicensed operator in the first degree, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. The arrest stems from an investigation into a one car property damage accident on Steele Road in the Town of Waterloo. Eddington was arraigned in Waterloo Village Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 insurance bond.
