On Wednesday at 3:30 am a Farmington man was arrested on multiple charges after he allegedly damaged a couch with a knife during an altercation and throwing a cement brick at another’s vehicle during the incident.Deputies arrested Richard A. Williams, 37, of Farmington and charged him with criminal mischief in the third degree, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. He allegedly damaged a couch with a knife while in the presence of two children who were less than 17-years-old, according to deputies. Williams also allegedly threw a cement brick at a female’s vehicle smashing the driver’s door window. The damage to the car window is estimated to be worth $400, according to deputies. Williams was arrested and transported to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention. He will appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
