Canandaigua PD arrests 16-year-old in animal cruelty case

Update: Deputies in Ontario County say that a 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged in the animal cruelty case. He was charged with one count of animal cruelty, and was released on appearance tickets. The minor will appear in Canandaigua City Court on August 12. On July 11, a male threw a knife at and killed a goose behind the area of 699 South Main Street (commonly referred to as the Old Wegmans Plaza). Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Police Department at (585) 394-3311.
