Warm and dry fall forecast for Upstate NY: What does it mean for fall colors?

Dry weather can make leaves more vibrant — if they don't fall off early. While the region would welcome the bright, vibrant colors — especially in the Finger Lakes. The dry weather is causing some concern. Will the leaves make it to late-September, or early-October, when leaves begin to reach "peak" color in the Finger Lakes?
