A Canandaigua man was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to deputies from Ontario County.
Deputies say William J. Gaspar, 30, of Canandaigua was charged with driving while intoxicated on County Road 28 in the Town of Farmington. They also point out that Gaspar was observed crossing the center line multiple times, which prompted the stop.
He failed a field sobriety test and as deputies searched the vehicle they found marijuana, which prompted a second charge. Gaspar was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, and possession of marijuana.
He will answer the charges in Farmington Town Court at a later date. Gaspar was released on appearance tickets.
