Savannah man charged with welfare fraud in Seneca County

A Savannah man was arrested on August 3, at approximately 9:47 am on an an arrest warrant issued out of Waterloo Village Court, charging him with welfare fraud in the fourth degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree, and misuse of food stamps.

Aaron L. Maybury, 45, of Savannah was charged after an investigation into welfare fraud in Seneca County. Maybury was arraigned in Ovid Town Court according to deputies and was released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to answer the charges in Waterloo Village Court on August 17.
