Sheriff Gould asks for public’s assistance in mischief investigation in Cayuga County

Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould says that his office is seeking the public’s help in locating a person, or information on a criminal mischief investigation.

In a statement released on Tuesday via Facebook, Sheriff Gould wrote:

“The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating intentional incidents of damage that occurred in the area of Church Street Apartments in Port Byron during the evening and early morning hours of Thursday July 28th through Friday July 29th. Car windows were intentionally broken and multiple light poles were damaged.”

He urged anyone with information to call (315) 253-3545, or to contact tips@cayugacounty.us to report anonymously.
