Momentum Continues: West Main Kitchen in Waterloo gets brand new, hand-carved sign

A new sign goes up in downtown Waterloo at West Main Kitchen.

The above photo was provided by Lee Bieber, real estate developer in downtown Waterloo. The restaurant welcomed the new sign on Tuesday morning, which was custom built and hand carved locally.

West Main Kitchen has been undergoing several exciting changes in the last few weeks, as the team opened up Taqueria WMK. While Taqueria WMK is only open Friday through Sunday, they hope to expand hours as excitement builds for the venture.

They held a grand opening over the weekend at their 1314 Waterloo Geneva Road, which Taqueria WMK calls ‘home’.

It’s been an exciting several months in Waterloo as developer Lee Bieber, his team, and the staff at West Main Kitchen continue to make serious headway in making downtown Waterloo a revitalized destination in the Finger Lakes.

This September, they will be launching their first-annual Canal Fest, which will feature music, food, and much more excitement in and around downtown. Their efforts have been well-received throughout the community and surrounding region.

West Main Kitchen is open every day of the week featuring breakfast and lunch items. While Taqueria WMK is open Friday through Sunday from 12 pm until 7 pm. Hours are actively expanding and increasing at Taqueria WMK, so check out their Facebook Page here for the latest information and hours.
