Canandaigua Police Blotter

The following individuals were arrested by the Canandaigua Police Department. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Travis M. Leo, age 25 of Canandaigua, was charged with unlawful imprisonment. Leo is accused of refusing to allow a female from leaving a bedroom by blocking the doorway and physically restraining her. Leo was transported to the Ontario Count Jail pre-arraignment.

Aaron E. Rosario, age 22, was charged with AUO in the 3rd, unlicensed operator, moved from lane unsafely. Rosario is accused of operating a motor vehicle while his privilege to do so had been revoked.

Gene L Habeck Jr, age 55 of Macedon, was charged with DWI and uninspected vehicle. Habeck was involved in a property damage motor vehicle accident and following a subsequent investigation he was arrested for DWI. He was released on appearance tickets.

Sandra L. Martin, age 58 of Canandaigua, was charged with confinement of companion animals in vehicles/extreme temperatures. Martin is accused of leaving her dog in the back seat of her car unattended while she dined at Denny’s Restaurant. Ontario County Humane Society assisted and a laser thermometer was utilized to show the dogs outer body temperature to be 125.0 degrees Fahrenheit. She was released on an appearance ticket.
