Ontario County leaders, elected officials offer glowing endorsement of Pam Helming in 54th race

Canandaigua Town Supervisor Pam Helming has received overwhelming support from her home county as candidate for the 54th Senate District. Numerous Ontario County elected officials and Republican party leaders are supporting Pam’s campaign to replace State Senator Mike Nozzolio who is retiring at the end of the year.

Citing the need for change in Albany, Helming has vowed to fight to reduce property taxes, create jobs, grow the economy, protect Second Amendment rights, enact sweeping ethics reform, and restore the public’s trust in their state government.

“As the endorsed Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform party candidate for Ontario County and the entire 54th District, I am humbled by the amount of local support I have received from elected officials and party leaders in my home county,” said Helming. “It has been a great honor to work hard on behalf of the Town of Canandaigua residents, and when elected, I will bring that same dedication to the State Senate. I want to be the change that Albany needs. It’s time to bring some Upstate values back to the Capital.”

I’ve known Pam for years and I am confident she is the only individual who will fight to lower taxes, change state government and assist the residents of the 54th Senate district.”

“Pam attends a number of events in our community and I am always impressed how as she fields questions, she never gives the quick easy go-to politically correct answer. She takes her time, fully understands the question or issue first, and always provides a well thought out answer. We feel confident that Pam is the right candidate for 54th Senate seat and wholeheartedly support her in the primary,” said Patrick Riley, Chairman, Town of Geneva Republican Committee.

She is conscientious, has kept spending to a minimum in the town and has fought to save the taxpayer’s money. The 54th Senate District includes Wayne and Seneca counties, portions of Ontario and Cayuga counties and the Towns of Webster in Monroe County and Lansing in Tompkins County.
