Seneca Falls man charged after threatening to kill another resident during incident

A Seneca Falls man was charged with a variety of criminal charges after threatening to kill another resident.

At approximately 5:59 pm officers arrested Dillan T. Years, 18, of Seneca Falls — charging him with harassment in the second degree, menacing in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and unlawful imprisonment in the first degree.

Years is accused of restraining and then threatening to kill a local resident while pointing a BB gun at them and holding a knife to their throat. The victim was not injured, according to authorities in Seneca Falls.

Years was arraigned in Junius Town Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond. He will answer the charges at a later date in Seneca Falls Town Court.
