Cayuga County pays former deputy sheriff $100,000 in separation agreement

Cayuga County has paid $100,000 to a former deputy sheriff, who suffered from injuries on the job, as part of a confidential separation agreement. The contract, signed by Cayuga County Legislature Chairman Keith Batman and Sheriff David Gould in July, follows a Supreme Court case petition filed in May 2014.
