Armed robbery in Geneva; two suspects remain at large

The Geneva Police Department is seeking information, as well as two suspects after an armed robbery that took place around Bristol Gymnasium near the Hobart and William Smith campus.

Authorities say that the crime took place around 1:00 am when the victim was confronted at gunpoint by two individuals, who authorities believe are between the ages of 16 and 20. Police say both individuals had handguns.

The two men were described as the following:

Suspect #1: Dressed in black clothing and used a white mask to conceal his identity. Around 5 ft. 10 in. tall.

Suspect #2: Had a backpack and hooded sweatshirt during the crime. Also around 5 ft. 10 in. tall.

Property was taken during the incident and both suspects fled the scene before authorities were able to reach the location. The victim was uninjured and is now working closely with detectives on this case.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Department Road Patrol and Ontario County Sheriff’s Department K-9 have been assisting in the investigation. Detectives are currently working on multiple leads, according to authorities.
