Syracuse to open the season Friday night vs. Colgate wearing orange jerseys

Syracuse fans who clamored for orange jerseys when Syracuse’s new uniforms debuted two season ago, won’t have to wait long to see the football team clad in their preferred color.

The football team announced on Wednesday night that it will wear the orange uniforms during its season-opener against Colgate on Friday night, pairing them with blue helmets and blue pants.
