Driver charged with aggravated DWI, three hospitalized after crash in Victor

A Mendon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a one-vehicle crash in Victor.

Deputies say that on Thursday, at approximately 1:58 am first responders were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving one vehicle on Route 251.

An investigation revealed Donald W. Quinn, 47, of Mendon was operating his vehicle on Route 251 when it left the roadway, went into a ditch, eventually striking a traffic sign and tree.

The investigation also revealed that Quinn was operating that vehicle with three children in the car, which were under the age of 15-years-old. Deputies say that Quinn was arrested and issued several citations — as well as being charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child.

A female passenger, as well as two of the children were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital after complaining of chest and neck pain by Victor Farmington Ambulance. Fishers and Victor Fire Departments also responded to the scene.
