Naples man charged with DWI after driving to court under influence of alcohol

Deputies in Ontario County say that a Naples man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after driving his vehicle to court in Canandaigua under the influence of alcohol.

David Ernest Romeiser, 60, of Naples was charged with driving while intoxicated after investigators found that Romeiser had driven to Canandaigua Town Court while he was under the influence — with a blood-alcohol content of .08% or higher.

He was issued a citation and will answer the charge at a later date.
