Penn Yan woman arrested on felony drug charges in Yates Co.

A Penn Yan woman was charged with two felony drug charges after an investigation into the sale of heroin in the Village of Penn Yan was conducted. While the investigation remains ongoing, the following unfolded this week in Penn Yan.

Penn Yan Village Police have arrested McKensey J. Angle as result of an ongoing investigation into drug sales in the Village of Penn Yan.

Authorities say that Angle was taken into custody on a Superior Court warrant charging her with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance — a Class B felony and one count of sale of a imitation controlled substance — a Class A misdemeanor.

Angle is accused of selling heroin on two separate occasions in the Village of Penn Yan as well as a substance claimed to be heroin, which was not actually heroin on a third occasion.

Angle was arraigned in Yates County Court where Judge W. Patrick Falvey set bail at $5,000 cash or $10,000 secured bond.
