Washington Nationals extend agreement with Auburn Doubledays

The Washington Nationals have extended an agreement to retain the Auburn Doubledays as one the club’s Minor League Baseball affiliates for another two years.

The Nationals announced the move Tuesday to renew its player development contracts with both the Doubledays, which plays in the New York-Penn League, and the single-A Potomac Nationals of the Carolina League.

The move means that baseball fans in Auburn, and those throughout the Finger Lakes will continue to have access to minor league baseball in the region.
