Seneca Falls woman arrested after cocaine found during execution of search warrant

On Wednesday September 14th, 2016 at approximately 11:00 am members of the Seneca Falls Police Department and a New York State Police K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at 20 Mynderse Street in the Town of Seneca Falls following the investigation into the sale of cocaine.

Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, currency, packaging, scales and marijuana at the residence. Seneca Falls Police arrested Rachael R. Winfield, age 34, of Seneca Falls — charging her with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree — a Class B felony, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Winfield was arraigned in the Tyre Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond. She will reappear in court on September 16th at 10:30 am.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit also assisted on the investigation.
