Police: Geneva woman stole DSS benefits while stealing from elderly client

A Geneva woman is facing additional charges after deputies say she unlawfully received benefits while working as a home health care aid — while allegedly stealing from her elderly client.

In June, Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies said 37-year-old Danielle Huling of 129 Pulteney Street, Apt. 1 in Geneva, stole from an elderly client while working as a private health care aid. Huling was charged with stealing more than $25,000 from the 90-year-old victim while she was employed in 2015 and early 2016. She was charged June 13 with grand larceny.
