Geneva announces the opening of Port 100; coworking venture

The City of Geneva and its economic development partners are proud to announce the upcoming opening of Port 100; a new coworking community, located in the heart of downtown Geneva. Coworking provides a membership-based workspace to develop, collaborate, learn, and launch new projects and ventures in a dynamic, shared office setting. The cowork is expected to launch this fall.

Port 100 offers entrepreneurs, freelancers, and other independent professionals use of dedicated work spaces, 24/7, in an open office environment at 100 Castle Street, in Geneva’s downtown business district. It offers amenities including access to a conference room with teleconference capability, WiFi, shared copier/printer, and shared kitchen space to members for $150 per month.

Members also have the opportunity to work in an energized, collaborative work environment, with access to small business support from the City and its economic development partners, allowing members to contribute to, and participate in an active and growing business community.

“The City has long held entrepreneurship and small business development as central themes in our economic development strategy. Port 100 is an opportunity for us to harness the innovation, creativity, and economic potential of our community,” said City Manager Matt Horn.

The extensive renovation of the cowork space is nearing completion, with member access beginning this fall.

Port 100 is a partnership among the City of Geneva, Geneva Industrial Development Agency, Geneva Local Development Corporation, Geneva Business Improvement District, Ontario County Economic Development Corporation, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
