Temperatures will be heating up across the Finger Lake once again, with three of the next four days expected to have highs into the 80s.
The average high for this time of the year is about 70 degrees, so these temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees above normal. Record highs will be safe at most of the longer running observation stations. Rochester, for example, has a record high today of 91 degrees set way back in 1895.
Temperatures for Rochester, and much of the northern and central Finger Lakes will reach the mid 80s this afternoon. This includes places like Penn Yan, Geneva, Ithaca and Syracuse.
