Ontario County DA receives nearly $100K to combat financial crime

The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office once again has received a nearly $100,000 state grant that will be used to combat financial crime in the area.

The funding, made available through the New York State Crimes Against Revenue Program (CARP), will be used to fund Assistant District Attorney Melanie Bailey’s position in 2017. Bailey has been prosecuting financial fraud cases in Ontario County since she was hired in spring 2015.
