Shortsville woman charged with felony burglary

A Shortsville woman was arrested on Thursday at 4:11 on a bench warrant out of the Village of Shortsville.

Deputies in Ontario County say that Tiffany Giardina was arrested at Budd Park on Water Street in the Village of Shortsville on an arrest warrant for burglary in the third degree — a Class D felony.

She is accused of entering a building on August 20th located on State Route 5 in the Town of Hopewell and stealing a number of items. She was arraigned in Gorham Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 secured bond.

Ms. Giardina was arrested on a bench warrant issued in Hopewell Town Court, as well, for failure to pay a fine. She will answer the charges in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
