Seneca County man gets prison sentence for unarmed bank robbery

The Seneca County man caught by a surveillance camera robbing the M&T Bank in the town of Marion on Jan. 20 was sentenced in Wayne County Court this week to serve three to six years in prison.

The sentence was handed down to 38-year-old Romulus resident Ryan J. Laws, who had formerly pleaded guilty to third-degree robbery, a class D felony, for the crime, according to Wayne County Assistant District Attorney Christopher Bokelman.
