Child Advocacy Center opens Geneva office

For a child who has been sexually or physically abused, a long ride in the middle of the night — possibly in a police vehicle — can make the situation worse.

It’s a big reason why those associated with the Canandaigua-based Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes are lauding the opening of a new satellite site in Geneva.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Pre-Emption Road office was held Sept. 15.
