Cold Cases: Cayuga Sheriff investigates clerk office burglary in Village of Cayuga

On Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, Cayuga’s village clerk Deb Pinckney got a phone call from the Department of Public Works. Her office, they said, had been broken into.

The call came in around 11:45 a.m. when a DPW employee noticed the broken window in the back door of the building on Railroad Street. And Pinckney hurried down to take a look.
