Bill Moyers draws full house talking Election 2016 at George M. Ewing Canandaigua Forum

Journalist and political commentator Bill Moyers talked about the upcoming presidential election and what its outcome could mean for the nation during the George M. Ewing Canandaigua Forum at Finger Lake Community College on Sunday.

“A Democracy can die with too many lies,” said Moyers, who talked about the phenomenon of Donald Trump and other forces driving the election.

Moyers, who also shared experiences as special assistant to President Lyndon Johnson and a White House press secretary, was joined on stage by moderator Michael Winship. Winship, a Canandaigua native, is a political columnist and senior writer for Bill Moyers Journal and Moyers & Company.
