Not-guilty pleas entered for high-speed pursuit through Canandaigua

The Rochester-area man captured by police two days ago after allegedly leading Canandaigua police officers on a high-speed pursuit last March pleaded not guilty in court Friday. Clifton L. Vickers Jr., 27, appeared Friday morning in Canandaigua City Court. He is facing a slew of charges, including attempted assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle and 24 other motor vehicle infractions.
