Cornell football falls to Harvard in Ivy League battle

Cornell suffered its first loss the football season Saturday as host Harvard won a battle of Ivy League unbeatens, 29-13, at Harvard Stadium.

Semar Smith ran for three touchdowns and Joseph Viviano III threw for 229 yards and a score for the Crimson (4-0, 2-0), the preseason favorites to win the conference. Cornell (3-1, 1-1), which has more wins this year than the last two combined, lost its 11th straight game against Harvard.
