Wings Over Ithaca owner owes NY $200K in sales taxes, charged with 26 felonies

A Massachusetts man who runs Wings Over Ithaca was charged with 26 felonies involving sales tax evasion, according to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

Bruce McPherson, 47, of West Springfield, underpaid his sales taxes by at least $221,601, according to state officials.

McPherson was arraigned today in Albany City Court and pleaded not guilty. He’s been charged with second-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal tax fraud, four counts of third-degree criminal tax fraud, and 20 counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.
