Lyons man gets 3 years in prison for injuring Wayne County deputy

A local man who injured a Wayne County sheriff’s deputy earlier this year is going to prison. County Judge Dennis Kehoe sentenced Jermaine Harrison Wednesday to three years in prison. District Attorney Rick Healy said Harrison, 29, pleaded guilty to felony charges of second-degree assault and first-degree criminal contempt. Harrison will be on parole for three years after he is released from prison.
