New York has third highest cell phone tax in U.S.

You probably didn’t need a study to know this, but here’s one anyway: The Tax Foundation ranks New York third among the states with the highest cell phone taxes and fees. The study shows only Washington and Nebraska have higher phone taxes. The average state and local tax rate in New York is 18 percent.
