Naples man dies after rollover crash on Route 21

A Naples man has died from injuries he sustained in a morning car accident in the Town of Canandaigua.

Deputies say that they were called to 5394 State Route 21 in the Town of Canandaigua for the report of a single vehicle rollover crash. When emergency personnel arrived they located a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup truck that was resting on it’s side – having rolled over multiple times.

Deputies say that the driver was found to be unconscious, and was later identified as 31-year-old David A. Morich, of Naples. Members of the Cheshire Fire Department extricated Morich from his vehicle, which had been totaled in the wreck.

He was transported to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua and then transported via Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital. According to deputies Morich remains in ‘critical condition’ at Strong Memorial Hospital.
