Lyons man arraigned on manslaughter charge following September stabbing

A Lyons man accused of fatally stabbing another man at a rooming house in Lyons last month was arraigned this week on multiple charges for the alleged crime, including manslaughter.

Pedro Colon, 62, of Lyons was charged with first-degree manslaughter, a class B felony, along with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor. At around 10:30 pm September 2nd, Wayne County sheriff’s deputies said they were dispatched to the Iroquois Hotel after receiving a report of stabbing at the Franklin Street address.
