Yates County District Attorney Valerie Gardner, and Yates County Sheriff and STOP-DWI Coordinator Ron Spike, have announced that Yates County has been ranked second in the state for successful DWI convictions in 2015. “Yates County Law Enforcement ranked 2nd in the state for convictions at 79.73 percent,” said Yates County Sheriff and STOP-DWI Coordinator Sheriff Ron Spike.

Gardner stated, “I am pleased to see the 2015 statistics which reflect the first full year of cases handled exclusively under my administration. I commend the efforts of my staff, together with those of our local law enforcement agencies, to address this serious public safety concern.”
