Seneca Falls man arrested after allegedly being paid for work never completed

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that a Seneca Falls man was arrested on a warrant after he allegedly was paid for work, which he did not complete.

Officers say that on November 5th at 8:52 pm officers arrested John S. Smith II, 36, on an arrest warrant with the charge of petit larceny.

The arrest warrant stemmed from a complaint, which a local resident lodged against Smith alleging that he did not complete work that he was paid to do. He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

He will answer the charges at a later date.
