Penn Yan sculptor pays tribute to iconic 20th century justice

Robert H. Jackson was a Western New York legal icon who sat on the U.S. Supreme Court and was the architect of the Nuremberg trials after World War II.

And his likeness in museums and courts throughout the country has been brought to life by Penn Yan sculptor and retired Keuka College professor Dexter Benedict. It has been his task — and honor — to re-create Jackson’s image in bronze busts and a statue.
