Roberson leads Orange rout of Colgate (full coverage)

The 2016-17 season commenced with back-to-back Tyler Roberson dunks, a telling sign for the night. The senior led Syracuse to a 83-55 win against Colgate with 18 points in the season opener at the Carrier Dome in front of 23,844 fans on Friday night.

The Raiders and the Orange traded basket for basket to begin the game. At the 11:30 mark, with Syracuse leading 18-15, the Orange used a 12-0 run to expand their lead to 30-15 in a span of 3:44. The run was fueled by Roberson with six points. At the end of the half, ‘Cuse led 49-25.
