Three seats open in Victor village election

Just as the last absentee ballots are waiting to be counted in the Nov. 8 general election, village of Victor Clerk Pam Hogenes announced the next village annual election, which will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Two trustee seats and one mayoral seat will open as of May 1. A Jan. 26 caucus of the Citizens' Committee will name three or more who will vie for those seats.

Mayor Jason Ashton, Trustee Larry Rhodes and Deputy Mayor and Trustee Michael Crowley all have two-year terms that expire at the end of April. All are expected to seek re-election. Trustees Gary Hadden and Carol Commisso, whose terms expire in April 2018, will continue serving for another year.
